Who Am I?

I often ask myself, but If It's not a Friesian Horse It's not a Horse! and If i Love Horses, There can be Only One!

Based in Sheffield South Yorkshire, My name is Stewart Hailes and at 44 years Old have always held a lifelong passion for horses, right back to being a 6 year old boy as my first real memories were with my Grandfather Bob Coulson who cared for his beloved Pit Ponies in the north East. May he rest in peace, for I loved Him more than all other's sept my Mother, My True Friend, and my most devout Allay.
From that you may gather I have come from a poor background that would test anybodies true dedication the noble horse (Friesian Of course)

The revelation of natural horsemanship from the USA has given me a sound and true understanding of why I love them so much, the great but less mentioned Master's of the Desert Arab have much to be acclaimed for in my Life's horse training! That said I must confess, there are not many horses I would not spend my time with, given the choice Horse or Human.
Horses are my Passion not my Career, as i am a General Manager with one of Europe's Largest Retailers.

Having Owned many horses over the years I always had a dream to own the Big Black beauty, that was seen on The TV Serious that I loved as an adolescent Black beauty and the Lloyds TSB Adverts on TV, I asked My lifelong friends The Jimmisons to assist me in finding the horse of my dreams, and The Lady Nadine came through again!
Having spent Far too long (Lisa my Lady tells me all the time) trawling through the Internet and on the Suggestion of Nadine, I was to Import two Friesians from Holland, Young horses un broken with Excellent breeding, I set about the fearful task of building my babies into my Dream, What a shock both were like puppies, we joined up and they followed me everywhere, I backed them soon after three years Old, without a cough, My dream was born, but the Friesian is an addictive Animal, i cannot get enough.

I sold my Mare under the pressure of work etc and was inundated with Enquiries to buy her, I was lucky enough to find a home for her within three miles, and she is flowering into a fantastic example of the breed.
I agreed to source a horse from Holland for a lady who would have bought my mare, and the calls kept coming, As a child I always dreamed of being a Stud farmer in Scandinavia, It seemed that may dream could come close to true, maybe I could make enough money each month to work with horses?

I have built this site at the request of my customers; I have some of the best Contacts and breeders from Holland and the USA and have managed to source and supply a perfect match.

My Aim is to Match the right horse to the right person every time, to build a network of Friesian lovers around the UK
who will give me personal referrals enough to end my present occupation of over 22 years to work with Friesian Horses.
Friesian Horses because i have never know a Horse breed with the willingness to learn and be with their human Partner,
everything I have ever read and learnt has been true, they are laid back easy going and happy to do whatever you teach them, though attention should be paid to the mother line and breeding which will give you the right type of horse depending on the job you require.

I Also Aim to Make Friesians affordable, there is not a cheap Friesian without a reason, but there is also no
need to pay the silly amounts of money some people like to charge, I have never had a Friesian who is not registered FPS,
Micro chipped and with full pedigree. That said I have seen many good Friesians in Holland without pedigree that have not been graded but Pure bred that I would be proud to own and that can reflect in the Sale Price, So please get in touch even on a tight budget, If i can make your Dream come true I will, I remember looking through the shop window when I was younger.
